Summary
An old school look with great technology: The most robust looking and feeling in the Tamko asphalt shingle line is built to impress. It has very deep shadow lines and has a design seen in a few manufacturers trying to emulate wood shakes and get that older feel to the shingle. The double layer fiberglass mat contributes to the strength and warranty of this product which is nothing to laugh at. There is a 50 Year Limited Warranty and a FULL 20 Year Labor and Material guarantee with NO pro ration whatsoever.

I forgot my stars man
Its only been a few year and these are starting to disform somehow. We really liked them when put on right over top of our old roof. Better priced than the option from Certainteed. However they are curling up a little at ends, installed says nothing to worry about but i don’t know.
Sarah,
I’m a licensed roofing contractor in California. From 2000-2005 I represented the best independent ROOFING MATERIALS manufacturer. This is a top of the line company with quality, integrity, who’s been around since 1911. Independently owned and backs their product.
Let me ask you w question mam. What type of roofing is below the vintage shingle? How many total layers? I’ve never heard of any shingle poping up without being in installed over something forcing it upward. Below each tooth if you will, is several assault adhesive strip. Either your guy has his first rodeo on your roof, of your talking about another company,,,it’s the best one I’ve ever seen ,,,most flexible, highest quality bitumen and sticks so well in warm temps you be lucky to pull two shingle qpwrt, if they’re missing their release strip…..
It was between these and the Cetainteed Presidential. yes these were a little cheaper but it really doesn’t seem like I gave up anything. They are very thick and my wife and I liked the looks just a tad more.
