Pros
- We really like the extra wide nailing zone especially for homeowner installers
- Wide array of color options
- Easily accessible larger shingle makes install fast
Cons
- Not very heavy
- The special larger size means repairs down the line are harder without having this brand shingle on hand
Summary
This is an upgraded architectural shingle that is distinctive by way of the larger size than most competing products. They are also very installer friendly (ie; novice homeowner maybe) by way of the extra wide 1 1/4" nailing flange found making it easy to hit the reinforced mark where your nails should go. Add a limited lifetime warranty and a wind resistance rating up to 130mph and you get a good middle of the road shingle.
