$$$Price
Pros
  • Good dark and light color variance
  • Not to expensive for those needing this look on their roof
  • Simple install with high end feel
Cons
  • While they are nice only 6 colors
  • For the same cash some competing products offer a better value
  • Not too special now
Summary
For those wanting a flatter looking shingle with a little flair this offering may fit the bill. It's a single layer asphalt shingle made to look like slate shingled from the old world. Cuts and installs relatively straight-forward. It's heavy at 240lbs a square but not as heavy as some other shingled in this category. Offered in an Impact Resistant line "IR" as well - we suggest if you are spending the money to go ahead and go for that variety - be sure to check out the other slate look shingles from GAF and Owens Corning as well.
